ORIENTATION MEETING | Monday, August 26 from 4:00-5:00 (201 Old Central) or Tuesday, August 27 from 5:00-6:00 PM (201 Old Central)

All current Wentz Research Grant recipients will gather to  learn about important program requirements and expectations as well as learn best practices in undergraduate research. Faculty mentors are invited to attend as well. 

This is a mandatory event for all Wentz Research Grant recipients. If you cannot attend, please schedule an appointment with Latasha Tasci at latasha.tasci@okstate.edu

Ethics is of critical importance to the proper performance of research.  We will discuss several aspects of the responsible conduct of research and institutional compliance.

PROGRESS REPORT DEADLINE | Friday, November 15, 2019

To remain eligible for the program scholarship, all current Wentz Research Grant recipients are required to submit the Progress Report, which describes their activities during the fall semester and explains their plans for the spring.

Pre-Research Symposium Information Session | TBD

We will go over details of the upcoming symposium and discuss how to give an effective research presentation, which will prepare you to present your research at the Wentz Research Scholar Symposium.  

This is a mandatory event for all Wentz Research Grant recipients.


 

REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR WENTZ RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM | April 3, 2020

Please register for the Research Symposium by this date. 


WENTZ RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM | Friday, April 24, 2020

All current Wentz Research Grant recipients will present the results of their research projects at the symposum.

This is a mandatory event for all Wentz Research Grant recipients.


PROGRAM EVALUATION DEADLINE | Friday, May 1, 2020

All current Wentz Research Grant recipients are required to submit the Program Evaluation, where they will attach a copy of their research poster as well as their final report. The final report is a written summary of the research project, with a minimum of 5 pages. We appreciate constructive feedback about the program as well as the symposium.
